EMC Field Professional, Brian Moskalick is celebrating a major milestone with the company. September 25, 2020, is his 20th anniversary with EMC. In the span of 20 years, Brian has cultivated a sterling reputation as a reliable fieldworker who teammates and project managers can trust to get the job done at a high standard, rain or shine.
“It’s been a pleasure working with Brian. He completes any requested work scope with a professional attitude. Many of the projects have included unpleasant conditions in all types of weather. Brian never complains and gets the work done quickly and efficiently,” says Director of EMC, Mark Phillips.
Brian reflected on the past two decades, and here are some highlights from his time with the company.
Question: What brought you to EMC 20 years ago?
Answer: I interviewed with EMC and PB&S Chemical in Henderson, KY the same week in August of 2000. I received an offer from both on the same day, I chose EMC due to its location and reputation.
Q: How have you seen EMC grow and evolve over the years?
A: A lot of things have changed over the years, the people, the clients, sampling methods, etc. But I feel EMC still strives to produce the best results for our clients.
Q: What’s your favorite part of working at EMC?
A: The best part of working at EMC all these years has been the great co-workers, clients and sub-contractors.
Q: What makes Evansville such a great place to reside?
A: I grew up in Whiting, IN, then to Bloomington/IU for four years. I truly feel like Evansville is my home now, been here for 22 years. It’s a big city that feels like a small town. There are plenty of outdoor activities and interesting history also.
Q: What kind of advice would you give to your younger coworkers?
A: Build your relationships with your co-workers, clients and sub-contractors, it really makes a difference. I have gained a good number of friends over the years. Be dependable and always give your best effort.
