Roger Cohen, LPG, has joined EMC as our new Director. He replaces his predecessor, Mark Phillips, who is retiring after 16 years of service. Cohen will be responsible for leading EMC’s team of scientists and engineers as we continue to be a top environmental service provider for commercial, industrial, municipal and real estate clients in the Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois tri-state area.
Cohen will oversee the EMC team as we implement technical projects related to minimizing the threat of environmental releases for our industrial and manufacturing clients through permitting and record keeping and cleaning up existing contamination issues caused by past operations. As a licensed professional geologist, Cohen has personal expertise in helping his commercial real estate clients manage environmental liability issues during property transactions, industrial hygiene, and the investigation and remediation of contaminated properties. Cohen also brings a fresh perspective to the region regarding funding sources for municipal and private Brownfields redevelopment projects.
