MATT FELLER, PROJECT MANAGER
QUESTION: WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND AND CAREER PATH?
ANSWER: I earned my bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Southern Indiana. I have worked in the consulting business since graduation and have been at EMC for over nine years now.
Q: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT BEING RECOGNIZED BY YOUR COWORKERS?
A: I am honored to be named employee of the month because I see all my coworker’s hard work. EMC has been very busy for the past couple of months, and everyone has been working very hard to keep up. We could not keep up if it wasn’t for the overall efforts of the group.
Q: WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT WORKING AT EMC?
A: I enjoy the variety of work that this job brings. I specifically enjoy completing Phase I projects because they allow me to learn about different industries and the history of different cities. Every day brings a new challenge as no project is the same.
Q: WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR MOST EXCITING PROJECTS AT EMC?
A: I have really enjoyed working on an old dry-cleaner site in Evansville. EMC has recently completed a large remediation phase and the initial results look very encouraging. Everyone involved with the project is encouraged by the results and we should be able to obtain closure for our client within a reasonable timeframe.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR LIFE LIKE OUTSIDE OF EMC?
A: My wife and I spend most of our time trying to keep up with our two young children Everett (2) and Marley (1). If I do get some free time, I enjoy running and cycling. My wife and I also enjoy traveling, we are planning a few trips for later this summer and fall.
