QUESTION: WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND AND CAREER PATH?
ANSWER: I got my bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Indiana. I started working for EMC part-time many years ago to help out during a busy time. I enjoyed the work and EMC liked what they saw from me and brought me on full-time. As they say, the rest is history.
Q: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT BEING RECOGNIZED BY YOUR COWORKERS?
A: I am very honored. I think we have a great team and I feel that any one of us at EMC can be recognized on any given month and deserve it.
Q: WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT WORKING AT EMC?
A: I think my favorite thing about working at EMC is the variety. I never get bored because I am always doing something different. It can be difficult at times trying to master so many different things but I enjoy the challenge.
Q: WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR MOST EXCITING PROJECTS AT EMC?
A: I would say a long-term project in Southern Indiana where we have implemented several remediation strategies including excavation, a remediation system, and chemical injections. I particularly enjoy the troubleshooting side of remediation system maintenance.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR LIFE LIKE OUTSIDE OF EMC?
A: Most of my time outside of work is spent with my beautiful wife, Heather, and our three amazing children, Emmy, Brooks, and Asher (all under 5!). I am sure life will only get busier, but I welcome it because it is so rewarding to watch my children grow and develop. Whenever I have the time and energy, I enjoy swimming, cycling, and running. I also enjoy watching the Saint Louis Cardinals and am excited that the regular season has recently started.
